Many men only go out shopping for shoes when their old shoes are wearing out. He may want to have a few good pairs of shoes to go with the different colors of suits that he wears. If he works in an office and needs to wear a suit everyday, his shoes should look impeccable. It also depends on the line of work the man is in. They should be clean and polished to make a good impression on the boss, the co-workers and anyone who enters the workplace. However, men can also love shoes. When someone mentions shopping for shoes, it's more than likely that a woman is mentioning that idea. They just don't seem to have the variety that women have, and men really don't mind that. Women have such a variety of shoe choices with all of the different types of colors, heels, sandals and boots. Women never seems to have enough of shoes in their closets. The colors that he can choose for his dressy shoes are basicly more conservative than the women's choice of colors.

A man will choose dressy work shoes that go with his taste. Most of the High-end designer men's shoes dress shoes are neutral to match most of his suits. Or, he may like to own a little of both. He may like the loafer or slip on type of shoe better than the oxford. In the colder months he can purchase stylish boots that go well with his suits. He can get black, brown, tan, gray, navy and even a deep shade of green. He doesn't have to worry as much about scuffing them and needing to polish or clean them as much.

These shoes are even more popular with men because they are also more comfortable than the dressy shoes. These shoes can also be worn after work when he goes out running, biking, playing sports or just relaxing. If a man doesn't work in an office, and has a more casual job either indoors or outdoors, he can even wear a pair of athletic shoes.
